Whether the pressure steam sterilizer can be used normally is not only related to the service life and internal quality of spare parts, but also has a great relationship with its daily maintenance. Regular maintenance of the sterilizer can reduce the failure rate of the equipment to a certain extent and ensure the normal and orderly sterilization work.

Daily maintenance of vertical pressure steam sterilizer:

1. The sterilizer in use should be checked once a month and records should be kept. Any abnormal situation found during the inspection and daily maintenance of the in-use sterilizer should be dealt with in time.

2. Chloride ion is an important factor causing corrosion damage to stainless steel. When sterilizing items containing chloride ions, the inner wall of the sterilizer must be rinsed with clean water every day to avoid corrosion of stainless steel by chloride ions and prolong the service life of the equipment.

3. Detection reagents contain high concentrations of chloride ions, which seriously corrode stainless steel. After sterilization, replace the new water and run with empty pot, flush the pipeline and solenoid valve again, and then drain the water in the water tank, and add new water when it is used again.

4. It is only suitable for the sterilization of high-temperature resistance and high-humidity resistance medical equipment, sanitary materials and other items. It cannot be used for sterilization of oils such as vaseline, powders, high volatile substances containing alcohol or gasoline, and corrosive substances to copper or aluminum.

The steam sterilizer uses high temperature and high pressure saturated steam to inactivate microorganisms and is a moist heat sterilization method. Pressure steam sterilization includes under-exhaust and pre-vacuum, pulse vacuum pressure steam sterilization. It is widely used in hospitals, scientific research, food, pharmaceutical, textile and other industries.
