Pulse vacuum sterilizers are mainly used for steam sterilization of cavity objects and appliances. In the pharmaceutical industry, it can sterilize cloth items or drugs that do not need to be cooled and explosion-proof such as bottle stoppers, operating tools and a large number of work clothes, and it can also be used as sterilization equipment for units that produce sanitary materials, dressings, appliances and other products to sterilize, fumigate and dry the medicinal materials. In addition, it can also be used for food sterilization.
Pulse vacuum sterilization is a high-temperature steam sterilization method, and steam sterilization is an ancient sterilization method that has been used very early. With the advancement of sterilization technology, high temperature steam sterilization has evolved into pulse vacuum sterilizers with better sterilization effect. Pulse vacuum sterilization uses saturated steam as the sterilization medium, and uses mechanical vacuuming to vacuumize the air in the sterilization chamber, and then inject steam. When the set pressure and time are not reached, vacuum and Inject steam again. When the set temperature and pressure are reached, the organism is accelerated by heat, and the biological protein peptides are broken, destroying the biological enzymes and structural proteins, thereby killing the bacteria.
Pulse vacuum sterilizer is a method of vacuuming the sterilization chamber several times and then flushing into the high-temperature steam multiple times, so that the cold air in the sterilization chamber is effectively replaced. When the set temperature, humidity and pressure are reached, high-temperature steam is used for heat sterilization, and the structural proteins composed of bacteria accelerate the movement, and the biological enzymes and structural proteins are destroyed, thereby causing the death of microorganisms. Under the impact of vacuum pressure, steam can diffuse to the outside and inside of sterilized products faster, sterilization is more thorough and efficient, and the damage to sterilized items is small.
After understanding the principle of pulse vacuum sterilizer, we must pay attention to the following aspects when using it:
1. In use, put the biological indicator in the center of the standard test kit or the center of the item to be sterilized, and place it in the difficult-to-sterilize position of the sterilizer for sterilization according to the specified sterilization temperature and time.
2. After the sterilization is completed, immediately take out the biological indicator, hold it vertically in your hand with the cover facing upwards, clamp the ampoule in the tube with a special tool, let the culture solution flow out and immerse the bacteria sheet, and use biological indicators to monitor the sterilization effect at least once a month as required.
3. After taking out the biological indicator tube from the sterilizer or the refrigerator, leave it at room temperature for about 10 minutes, and then crush the ampoule to avoid crushing the outer tube due to overheating or over-cooling.
4. After sterilization, the color of the liquid culture medium in the biological indicator will become lighter than before the pressure steam sterilization, and it will appear light purple. This change is normal.
